Ezekiel Yurdanur (he/they) is a trans queer multidisciplinary artist based in London. His work is infromed by finding a sense of belonging through enveloped spaces as well as the infinite desire for safety within one’s body. Working with performance, sculpture, film and poetry, it is particularly the cosmic energy ignited by the ancient wisdom that intrigues them. Through these mediums, Yurdanur is able to express themes such as ancestry, wild nature, and divine femininity, as they create a primitive space for connection to a higher power. His work mirrors neolithic archeology and raw materials such as drift wood, stones, clay, animal skin, as well as natural foraged objects. They put great emphasis on ceremonial practices that take the audience through a spiritual journey.
